How do we cultivate the love we need to transform the whole world?

Join us for an immersive dreaming, art-making & writing salon centering Black utopian artists, dreamers, and world builders; guided by the words of our ancestor bell hooks who said, ”“One of the best guides to how to be self-loving is to give ourselves the love we are often dreaming about receiving from others.”

and by the collective grief of living in a land where our systems do not love us. 

Together we will cultivate fractals of love that ensure our collective survival, our collective thriving, and our collective liberation. Through grounding rituals, memory work, guided imagining, free writing, collective art making, and movement, we explore love’s revolutionary possibilities across self, our relationships, communities, and societal structures. Together, we reflect on love as a root intentional practice and guiding principle fueling Black liberation. We will consider how deliberate acts of love can echo outward to shape a world that reflects the visions of love we are calling in.
